As an Artist, well, I’ve learnt some of the most valuable lessons in my life.
The first lesson is to be yourself and don’t let anyone change you. Put your heart into your artwork and make it beautiful like how you see beauty, not for other people’s opinions or taste in art. If someone is telling you that what you do is horrible then just keep on doing it till one day they find themselves admiring what you’re creating for yourself. It will happen eventually when they understand that your art is unique and precious just like your originality.
As any artist would know, with art there are good days and bad days but never forget to try because most importantly of all ” Don’t give up! “. We all go through something tough every now and then but it’s how we overcome those hardships that show us our true colors.
If you’re a good artist, try to express whatever feeling you have for a particular piece of work with the most honesty and simplicity. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with your styles or mediums because that’s what makes artists create new things all the time.
We mustn’t ignore the fact that every word has been said already so why not try something different?
From my personal experiences as an artist, I’ve learnt from my mistakes from oh-so-long ago when I spent money on tutorials but never had enough time for them due to my busy school schedule. This is bad because it takes away at least one day of practice if you know what I mean.
It doesn’t matter how much you practice as long as you stay focused and determined because it will all pay off in the end. The last piece of advice that I would like to give is to keep your passion alive for yourself to remain an artist no matter what happens because there’s a difference between loving art to being an artist.
I have learnt many things being an artist.
The first thing is people are never happy with what you do so don’t let it bother you because, at the end of the day, it’s just your artwork. plus if they do give constructive criticism, always take it into mind but sometimes there are those who do not really mean any harm or have no idea how to express their opinions.
don’t ever be afraid to experiment with different techniques and ideas because that’s how great art is made. one should never limit themselves simply for others’ sake and closing their minds will only make one dull as a human being. we must think big and aim high even though we fail (and trust me, we will) try and try again until we succeed.
The most important thing I learned as an artist is to live and love the art we do. if you don’t love what you’re doing then what’s the point? this doesn’t mean that we ignore our surroundings and not contribute to society but rather to always reflect on how much beauty has been brought into our lives by art.
don’t give up your passion for arts no matter what happens, trust me it will benefit you in the long run because even though life does happen, nothing can take away your passion so remember to use it wisely.
This is one very important thing to remember- always have passion for what you do because it shows in your artwork and makes all the difference. nothing else matters but your love for art so never give up!
“All that matters is your passion. Everything else will fall into place one day.”
This quote is to me, to an artist in the near future.
